Member Benefits

The membership year runs from 1 April to 31 March. The full membership fee is charged no matter at what point in the year membership is taken out. Existing membership benefits will cease on 1 July if members have not renewed.

NACTSPC members will have training and/or experience in working with people who have life-shortening illnesses such as cancer, heart or lung disease or neurological disease eg: motor neurone disease.

Payment can be by cheque or BACS (Bank details will be issued on request).

Unit Membership

Membership fee is £50

Unit members are organisations. Unit members provide the name of a contact person for the unit. This is usually the Complementary Therapy Coordinator or Lead Therapist. Access is available to all therapists within the team including volunteers.

Individual Membership

Membership Fee £15

Individual members are those who join as an individual. Units cannot take out individual membership under the name of a therapist. The contact address for individuals is usually their home address, and cannot be the address of the palliative care unit where they work or volunteer.
