This page provides information about how NACTSPC use any personal data collected about you when you register on this website as a member.

  1. NACTSPC is the abbreviated name used by the National Association of Complementary Therapists in Supportive and Palliative Care. NACTSPC provide peer support for individual and unit members with an interest in this speciality area of therapy work.

  3. For the purposes of data collected and stored by NACTSPC, personal data is information relating to a specified person, such as name, age, address, date of birth, gender and contact details.
  4. What personal information do NACTSPC collect? For the purposes of member registration, we may collect any of the following information: title, name, home or work address, business name, job title, contact telephone number, e-mail address. If you do not wish to share all of these details with us, we may not be able to offer you membership or access to our services.
  5. How do NACTSPC use the information about you? We only use your personal information to provide you with membership. This means that we may contact you about relevant issues, services and offers related to and provided as part of that membership. NACTSPC will not share your details with anyone else unless you have expressly given permission for us to do this (for example: peer support and networking via Googlegroups).
  6. How long do NACTSPC store your information? We will hold your information for the duration of your membership and for a period of up to two years if you do not subsequently renew. Following this we will store past details in our archives.
  7. Your Individual Rights under the Data Protection Act 2018 will be upheld.
